It’s here, it’s here! After a year of kinda working, kinda procrastinating and two months of working my buns off it’s finally time to launch this thing!

This book is for those of you who are looking to wade a little deeper into the coding waters. It includes tips on choosing the right template, instruction on how to use plugins and Google’s Keyword Tool, how to build a better blog design through information from your analytics, and tutorials of course!

There are TEN brand new tutorials – a few easier ones for those of you just getting started, some in the middle and a couple advanced tutorials for those of you looking for a challenge. The tutorials are based in Blogger and self-hosted WordPress, but those of you using other platforms may be able to apply the code to your site as well.

Through this book I hope to help you define your style as a blogger, share your message, your business or passion, and create a design that encourages your readers to stick around and participate.

Thank you for your thoughtful comments on my blogging bandwagon post. I was a little unsure about publishing that, but I can see I’m not the only one wondering why the blogosphere has gotten so bland! And thank you for your support of my ebook – it makes me even more excited to finish it and launch. All you peeps are making me a very happy blogger this week :)

It’s new template day! I’ve added a new minimalist premade template for Blogger in three different colors. I’ve been wanting to use this pretty cursive font for a while, so I spent last night building something new. Each of these templates will also include three blank icons if you’d like to make one for a site that’s not included.

If you’d like to see this template in a different color just let me know – I’m happy to add a few more options to the shop.

The weather has been bumming me out lately. We had a few beautiful, warm days and then it’s back to dreary and rainy and freezing. I’m refusing to wear my winter coat, so spring better show up soon!

In the meantime, I’m sending out warm weather vibes with a new template for Blogger…Forever Summer. Of course the second I finished it I wanted to change my brand new blog design to a brighter template too >_<

I haven’t shared any of my work recently, so here’s the latest to be pushed out of the nest: VIXIN Nail Bar. I really love how this site turned out – dark, minimalist and a little sexy. This is one of the largest sites I’ve done. – lots and lots of pages, content, photos, menus, slideshows. I even had to figure out how to translate the entire thing into French! (Answer: wpml.org)

Currently on my plate, a redesign for a law firm, a cookie company and the brilliant GenPink :)

I’m loving the the coral + gray color combination lately. It’s on my blog, my portfolio, my Etsy shop and now it’s on a template! This one is for Blogger, but if you’d like it for WordPress or in a different color just let me know.

And I figured I’d be nice and make a new one for self-hosted WordPress too. This one is all white with teal, yellow, and peach (pink, coral, what color is that??) I’m happy to make this one for Blogger if anyone is interested – just let me know!
