Happy Friday

Happy Friday! It took me about 10 shots to get this damn dog to look at me. He hates having his picture taken so I have to make a lot of noises and promise treats until he stares at me like I’m an idiot. See…first picture, “What is wrong with you?” second picture, “Did you say treats??!”
I’m going to actually take the weekend off to visit my grandparents, get some work done on the house and hopefully shovel some pancakes into my mouth.
Cardio and stretching will also ensue along with mixing songs for an upcoming show. With all this working out I’ve been trying to eat a ton of protein so I can have bigger arms. For once I’d love someone to go ‘WHOA” when I flex. My new favorite post-workout meal is fish tacos with zucchini and goat cheese. Mandy pinned these so I may have to do a little non-baking this weekend too.
Also, I finally gave in and created a Facebook page for this here blog, so hop over and click like so I don’t look like giant a giant loser anymore. Gracias & I hope you have a lovely weekend!

One of our dogs hates photos too. She runs away when I take the camera out, but she hasn’t figured out that I can take photos with my Phone :D
My dog actually looks away from the camera or will go hide – she hates it that much. But it comes in handy when we’re at the vet & she’s so friggin excited & won’t calm down – I pull out my cell & pretend I’m taking her pic. Calms her down every single time!
That is an amazing idea – I’m going to try it out next time Slayer is having a spaz!
I can never get my mom’s cats to hold still for photos! Animals just hate having their pictures taken!
I’ve been working on my arms too–I don’t know how I can lift what I lift and my arms still don’t show it. I just don’t put on upper-body muscle well. =[
I’m glad it’s more than my dog and he’s not just an enormous jerk haha
You should only be able to do 5-8 reps with whatever you’re lifting, so you may actually need to increase the weight if you’re going over that. And you’ll want to eat protein within an hour of your workout, though it’s possible you’re just not made for giant arms :)
I’ve found that animals don’t like to look at me when I’m holding the camera up to my face, but if I put the camera near the floor they will look right at it so that’s how I get good pet shots haha. Have a good weekend!
That sounds like a good trick – thanks!
