What a crazy, fun week this has been! Nicole moved into my spare bedroom while she looks for a new apartment and it’s been like a grown-up sleepover. We drank wine and watched Breaking Bad, ran all over town looking for vegan ice cream, had sushi dates, and went to see The Avengers (where I entertained her by blowing bubbles with my gum the entire time). Last night we met a couple friends at the bar and then somehow ended up downtown at an outdoor electronic music concert. The afterparty was at a tiny, packed bar around the corner where we danced in the middle of the very sweaty crowd until almost 2am. I felt like a human slip ‘n’ slide when we finally left & may have taken a run through the sprinkles on the way back to the car. It’s been a long time since I’ve danced my butt off like that!
