I’m very excited to share my latest design with you. While I love building sites for bloggers who write about what they ate, who they wore and how cute their cat is, it was a nice change to be able to design for someone writing about something really important. I actually felt sort of honored to take on the responsibility and wanted to make sure the site would help Kelsae reach out to as many people as possible.
Kelsae’s husband suffered a catastrophic intracranial hemorrhagic stroke nine months ago. He was hospitalized for a total of sixty five days and was released home exactly one month before the birth of their son.
My husband has been in a coma for eleven days. He had an intracranial hemorrhagic stroke last Wednesday morning. Just two nights before, on Halloween, we watched the worst zombie movie ever made. At least, I thought it was. Mike fell asleep with one of the dogs on his lap and missed most of it. He left for work early the next morning and I haven’t seen him conscious since.
As a 20-something, stoke is not really on our radar, but it’s a reality for a lot of people, which is why I’m so happy to share Kelsae and Mike’s story.
Take a minute to swing by their site and share what they’ve created >>>

Thanks Sarah. I’ll check it out :)
Beautiful design Sarah. Clean but textured. Would you mind sharing the name of the font used for the word ‘Stroke’ in the header? I love it
Thanks Clare! It’s called Devonshire
I checked out their site and I was blown away with how much passion there is in setting it up. Stroke is something dreadful, which can strike almost any person, family, or group of individuals. My grandfather had suffered from stroke and I had been a witness to how much the disease ruined his memory and the way he dwelt with his family, in the remaining years of his life.
You did a great job in designing the site, Ms. Sarah. I adore your complexity and flexibility as an artist. Keep it up!
