I’m so excited that this is on its way to me today! The past three summers I’ve spent hours online looking for a new bike to replace my heavy, slow green cruiser, but there are so many choices and technical details I can never nail down what I want. If I’m going to spend hundreds on a bike, it had better be perfect!

Nicole has been riding a Mixte all summer and always tells me she can carry it upstairs to her apartment, in heels, after a night of drinking. Now THAT is a good review!

After I somehow managed to flatten my back tire a couple days ago in a failed attempt to inflate it (Who has that much trouble using a bike pump??) it made for a good excuse to start browsing bikes again and when I found the Mixte in black I bought it immediately. It even comes with a rack, a light and a bell!

What a great bike. I’ve been wanting to be more active and as a kid I always enjoyed riding my bike. I’m now wishing I still had one to ride. XD

Cute! I’ve been looking for a bike for myself forever and can’t ever decide on anything. Since we live on the third floor, if your friend’s review is anything to take, I think I might be getting my own Mixte soon. Hope you’ll do a review once you get yours in!

It’s beautiful! I will be in the market for a bike soon, I just recently started riding with my boyfriend, and I ride his dad’s Schwinn Cruiser, it’s big, heavy, the gears are messed up…BUT it has a giant comfy seat and a basket in the front, and while it’s only 10 or so years old, it looks like a vintage.

I have NO clue what to look for in a bike, other than it’s got a comfy seat and maybe a cute basket!

A comfy seat and a basket are always important! I just knew I wanted something with 3 speeds, super light so I could put it in my car, much more speedy than my cruiser, and not a million bucks. Making a trip to a bike shop is probably a good idea :)
