Blog Love

This weekend was very busy. Work Saturday morning, then rehearsal with the Weird Sisters, an hour at home for a quick dinner before hair & make-up and then finally performing with Seattle’s own sci-fi circus punk rock band, Super Geek League. The show involved glowing headgear, sexy dancing aliens, the Detroit Party Marching Band and a pillow fight.

Sunday I had brunch with friends and then drove out to my parents house to spend my day off floating in the pool. I did my best to pay attention to the heat of the sun, the coolness of the water and not my to-do list or schedule, so I’m feeling pretty relaxed tonight. Do you ever have to remind yourself to stay in the moment?

Is it just me or does Pugly Pixel not let you comment on her blog?? Weird. I was going to tell her that that Photoshop trick with her fonts is very cool! I had no idea you could do that with fonts!! I’ll have to go check mine out…

Also, I’ve never seen Twin Peaks either, so don’t feel bad. I probably should watch it though… for those just slightly older than me, it was quite a phenomenon. It’d be nice to know what they’re talking about when they reference that show.
