Blog Love

Thank you all for your thoughtful comments on my last post. I know I need to keep my focus on my work and friends and the rest will eventually work itself out. One good thing about being single, at least, when I make a delicious dutch baby for breakfast I get to eat the whole thing myself :)
And now for a few blog posts making me smile this week…
Kelli posted a baby headband tutorial, but I want to make one for myself >>>

Hi Sarah. Thanks so much for sharing that article. Have a great time on your solo movie date this week!
Thank you Tyler!!
Yeah, it’s one of those things in life you can’t really make happen, it just happens and you feel really lucky. I’ve been to lots of movies on my own and it’s very easy. It doesn’t really matter while you’re watching the movies, the only boring part is standing in line alone.
Mmm, Dutch baby, so very tasty! Also, wrong post, but your escape story has been on my mind since you posted it. It’s so encouraging to hear someone else do it, especially without relying on a spouse, free housing, etc. I’m trying to do the same thing, and stories like yours make me feel like I might get there, and in less than 30-some years :-)
And I’ve never been to the theaters alone, but I love me a lone restaurant date. So relaxing and fun!
Going to a movie alone is kind of fun! Whenever I have nothing to do and no one is around (rare, but it happens), I like to play Movie Roulette with myself. I just go and buy a ticket for the next movie starting, to matter what it is. You can amend this by excluding children’s movies, of course. It’s led me to see some shitty movies (Pirates 4) but also some ones that I wanted to see (Toy Story 3)!
I love going to the movies alone! Definitely give it a try.
Omg Yum. And brownie in a cup? Genius. Checking it out right now!! Your posts are so much fun to read thank you!
