Handbag Upgrade

Remember a couple weeks ago when I wrote about my amazing new calendar app and how I still hadn’t let go of my paper planner? Well, I did it! Now that I’m no longer lugging around a camera, iPod, planner and a ton of random junk, I (and my shoulder) were starting to wonder why I was carrying such a huge purse.

I love this bag, but it’s a little ridiculous and heavy even when it’s empty! So I hopped over to Etsy and found myself a cute, bright little clutch. It’s exactly what I was looking for and the hinged top is so cool.

Keys & kubotan (for beating up attackers) + Candies sun glasses + business cards & case (Office Max)
Burt’s Bees pomegranate chapstick + NYX gloss + Just Bitten lip stain + iPhone + stud bracelets from Candies

My immediate thought after buying a clutch was that I need a super cute vintage lunch bag to take to work, but I held back and pulled out the tote bag I bought at a Le Tigre concert years ago. And just when I was getting all smart and using things I already own, I went online and purchased leggings and shorts and leg warmers in addition to the leotard I need for an upcoming circus shoot. Oops :)

I LOVE it! I got a clutch a few months ago and I was so suprised I hadn’t owned one before! Cute Sarah :) Love the hinged top as well AND now I totally want a kubotan, lol.

oh man, I need to get inspired by you! I’m a huge purse carrier and have so much unnecessary crap in it! hah!

I think even if I cut down on my papers and things, I’d still have to carry a gigantic bag (because I bring a half face of makeup wherever I go, and because I’m a pack rat).

    Nice.

You should sell that handbag. :)
