Video: Circus Dog
A month ago, after reading a Cesar Millan book, I got the idea that Slayer need more mental stimulation and needed to be put to work learning a new trick. So I bought a hula hoop and proceeded to turn him into my little circus dog…
He was not a fan of the hoop at first and would only hop through after lots of coaxing. I started with the hoop on the ground, having him walk through it and slowly moved it higher and higher. Now he knows exactly what to do, though as you can see, will only jump through from one side!

How cute! He’s so springy! My poor dog is terrified of hula hoops because she accidentally got hit with one when I first started hooping.
awwhaha i’m sure that will happen at some point, so i guess it’s good he’s not afraid of them before i go for some wild tricks.
