Tuesday

We take the piglet for a quick walk around the block and he is so excited he prances the entire time. Meet up with Nick+Nicole for dinner before Nick heads back out on tour. He gave me a photo of Bruno Mars which I stuck on my fridge and can’t help but sing Grenade every time I walk into the kitchen. Slows To-Go is closed, so we hop over to the main restaurant and cross our fingers it’s not too packed. I am in a weird mood and Pants wraps his arms around me while we wait…it totally helps. We score a table in five minutes. Pants cracks us up with a Teddy Roosevelt history lesson; apparently he’s determined to bring back Roosevelt’s catch phrase “Bully for you.” After stuffing ourselves with real&fake BBQ (the pickles are my favorite part!) we head back toward home for PBR and root beer flavored vodka at the LT.
