Circus Kids
Irina, and I along with a few girls from the Flyhouse headed to Ann Arbor to work on our routine during open play time hosted by the Detroit Fire Guild. There were probably about 40 circus kids working on all kinds of skills from juggling, to acro, to hooping and of course fire tricks.
Climbing to the top of the silks I could see balls of fire flying around outside as people worked with fire staffs and poi. (I will make sure to take pictures of them next time because it looked really cool.) It was fun to watch everyone practice and they were interested in learning what we were doing too.
We’ll probably go again next week once our trapeze arrives in the mail – yes, you read that right…we have ordered our very own trapeze!! Because…Irina and I booked our first real (like we’re gonna get paid!) show!! My brain has been pretty much exploding over this for the past week and I may have screamed into the phone when Irina told me the good news. I will post details very soon!

I am so excited for you that you booked your first (of many) paid events!! You are amazing and awesome and I can’t wait to see you perform. Maybe I’ll have you work a birthday party of mine in the future.. hehe.
I also can’t wait to see where you put your personal trapeze you purcahsed. How does that work?
Congrats! I wish I lived closer so I could come see you! Then again, I’m trying to move south, not north, so that might not be the best idea, lol. Can’t wait to hear all about it though, and hopefully see pics and video!

Wake me up when it’s time to see you perform. I think I’ll be in hibernation until something else beautiful awakens my senses.
I guess that means I’ll be half asleep at the blogger meet up, too. LOL.
