Sunday was the third annual gingerbread house making party at my parent’s. I probably ate more candy than I actually put on my house and after an hour or two was coated in sugar, inside and out.

My three-year-old cousin made a dog house + giant marshmallow monsters

RAWR!

My sister made a teepee – complete with corn and a fish on a bonfire.

Grandma made a church

My aunt and cousin went a little nuts and made the Detroit Zoo

Another cousin made some sort of spacey post-modern house

And I made a sky scraper!

I know I have said this a million times over but truly your family is the coolest! And so creative as well. I love all these creations. The church! The zoo! The tent! The skyscraper! I LOVE THEM ALL :)

This is friggin’ fantastic!! I’ve made some gingerbread houses when I was younger. I’m definitely going to make one this year!

  5. I almost said “those look good enough to eat” like an idiot. we don’t celebrate Christmas, so I’ve never actually seen a gingerbread house.

    They are awesome. :-)
