Woke up this morning to the Descendents with Slayer’s cute little head right on the pillow next to me.

Threw on one of my Kohl’s finds – a cap-sleeve striped dress, perfect for showing off my Hello Kitty bling, and yellow flats. My hair is lookin’ a little crazy since I let it air dry.

My little green peppers pulled a switch-a-roo on me while I was at my parents over the weekend and turned red. Not sure what kind of peppers they are anymore.

For dinner I sauteed yellow squash and green chard with sage and green onion from my garden, plus a little lemon juice and butter. Gotta say, I wasn’t sure how it would turn out, but I’m a pretty good cook :)

  1. Love the dress!

As for the peppers, I think green peppers are simply unripened red peppers. So you can still have green peppers if you pick them early. Otherwise, you get red.

But it’s hard to time the picking for green because they turn red so quickly. I bet they are turning so fast because we have so much heat.

It’s kind of the best of both worlds in one plant!
