Met my buddy Royce at the Majestic and hopped on the shuttle to the Tigers game. We bought the cheapest tickets and climbed to the top of the stadium where we had a beautiful view of the city. The air was hot and thick, but a cloud was nice enough to cover the sun as we sat down and stayed there throughout the game sending a little breeze our way. The Tigers won and we called the shuttle to come get us – we were the only ones on board last night. We stopped for a beer at the equally empty Garden bowl, chatted with the bartenders for a while and then called it a night.

A little trivia – apparently that building right in the middle, the Broderick Tower, is the 6th tallest abandoned structure in the world. I still love it – it has whales painted on the side, how can you not?!

Ohman! We were so close! I need to hang on the Alley Deck more – it’s so nice up there.
