Last week I signed up for Door-to-Door Organics, which delivers fresh, organic produce straight to your door. No more standing in line at the grocery store, wondering how many kids sneezed on your apples. No more searching for a parking spot and wading through a sea of people at the market. Now yummy fruit and veggies shows up at my door twice a month!

Yesterday morning I left a cooler outside and came home to it filled with veggies and fruit.
I don’t think I’ve ever been so excited for a delivery.

I chose the smallest ‘Bitty’ box and got lettuce, spinach, carrots, tomatoes, cucumber, peaches, pears and strawberries. I didn’t want a cantaloupe, so I logged onto the site a couple days ago and substituted avocado. They make it way to easy!

Currently they deliver to Kansas City, Colorado, Michigan and the East Coast. I’ve giving it a huge thumbs up, so if they deliver to your area you should definitely give it a try. (And let them know I referred you so I can get some free stuff!)

Once the cooler was unloaded and pictures were taken I went on a cooking rampage. I made cucumbers in sour cream,  penne with lemon, spinach and tomatoes, and garlic bread, all while shoveling carrot sticks and strawberries in my mouth.

Seriously…NOM

Door to Door Organics is the best thing in all the land. For reals. I’m in love with it and rather sad that I’m not getting a deliverly today (doing it ever other week). I’m so glad you enjoy it as much as I do. Yay for fresh, local and organic fruits and veggies :) :) :)

Ha, I just commented about this on the other post where you mentioned it. But I agree it is so much fun! I just wish they had delivery here (and a better website!), but picking up a box from my local coordinator isn’t so bad–def better and cheaper than going shopping.

Also I’m glad I’m not the only one that photographs the bounty first! The first thing I always do when I get it home is lay it all out on the counter and snap away! It’s just so pretty. And the fact that I didn’t even have to go shopping for such a bounty makes it that much more beautiful. :D
