I’ve been a very quiet blogger and twitterer lately as Ria pointed out today asking, ‘Where have you been lady?!’ I’m still here :) I spent the weekend cleaning up my yard. My parents were sweet enough to come help get my grass under control and clean out my flower beds. I rewarded them with Mexican food and spent the evening watching the Wings game.
I made wheat bread (I actually used half white, half wheat flour) a few days ago, but quickly remembered I don’t like wheat bread at all. So last night, in the midst of a sugar craving, I turned it into french toast. Best idea ever! I wish I had more eggs so I could make it again tonight.
I’m becoming a total homebody and took great pleasure in hauling my TV down to the living room, which I rearranged last week. Now the couch is across from the dining room leaving a perfect spot for the TV right next to the doorway.
I finished reading Come Together, Fall Apart on Friday and busted through Extremely Loud and Incredibly Close in just two days. Both were beautifully written and get my recommendation. Safran Foer has a knack for creating superbly quirky characters. Everything Is Illuminated is one of my favorite movies, so I was really happy to finally read one of his books. I have no self control when it comes to used books on Amazon and ordered six more yesterday. Maybe I should save some money for book shelves instead.

Extremely Loud is so fantastic. it’s amazing!
I love Everything is Illuminated as well. I’d love to read the book.
I never get around to reading, though. Too busy with running and second job. And reading blogs. :(
Hey, Sarah! You’ve got something waiting for you over at my blog. ^_^ Also, I LOOOVE Sweeney Todd.
Sometimes being a homebody isn’t such a bad thing. Especially when you have a cute pup to cuddle up with!
Oh and I’m definitely adding your Etsy shop to my favorites, now that I’m maybe working again I have money to spend on beautiful things!
i’m glad you’ve just been hanging around and nothing was wrong. i’ve missed your happiness and smiley face though :)
