Put it all on black
After a morning convo that completely bummed me out, a lame day at work, and being on hold with Comcast for an hour, I was so happy to get a text from Jessica telling me to come over for Gossip Girl and Dairy Queen. DT hangs were exactly what I needed to cheer me up.
While we waited for Kell on Earth to DVR, Jessica and I found the 15-year-old goth girls buried deep in our souls and painted a wall in her bedroom with black chalkboard paint. A little Swellers sing-a-long made the work go fast – plus I’m an expert painter.
Have I mentioned how much I love this girl? She is one of the most fun and sweetest people I know. Plus she keeps tons of candy at her house and who doesn’t love that?!
Today’s outfit = my most favoritist leopard print dress by Soprano, F21 jeans, black tee and green Payless mary janes.

Those jeans are fantastic. I think I need to jump on board the F21 jeans train. Because I’m in dire need of good jeans that aren’t 1000% too lowrise (as you know, not good for petite girls). How do you find the rise?

How much fun was painting that wall black?! I had a total blast painting my master bath black (not chalkboard paint, just regular eggshell.) We did paint the smallest wall magenta, so it’s not ALL black. It is ALL AWESOME though!
Oh and you girls are adorable. I do NOT look that cute while painting.
