Happiness is…

I love finding things in my closet I haven’t worn in a while. I believe this top is from 80′s Purple. Plus I’m wearing my new jeans (F21) which are as snug and comfy as leggings, and my new blue nail polish.

The other day my iHome set off the alarm instead of my iPod. Waking up to beeping makes me very cranky, so I had the spazziest solo dance party (Slayer was looking a little concerned and backing alway slowly) and sang obnoxiously loud to get out of that funk. If anyone caught sight of me – underwear clad, limbs flailing, and hair flying – they may have thought I’d taken a couple shots with breakfast. But when the song ended and I breathlessly resumed getting ready for work I was in a much better mood.

I watched Wall-E the other night. How did I go this long without see it?! Cutest movie ever. Pixar always makes great films, but Wall-E was just genius. The characters were adorable, the plot was thoughtful, the soundtrack was beautiful. It’s one of my favorites now.

+ rain turning the grass green + walking Slayer when I get home from work + finishing reading Slow Man and starting The 4-Hour Work Week (totally inspiring!) + planning adventures with my bro, sis, and cousins + circus class starts on sat!! + doing pull ups every day + cleaning out the fridge instead of grocery shopping + making homemade pasta sauce before work this morning + stretching every night and most mornings + changing my makeup routine + movies from Netflix showing up almost every day + 90s rap mix on the radio every day at noon aka The Old School Nooner + Across The Universe soundtrack + LOST + Double Trouble/Triple Threat + wearing a ton of sequins + having a little, tiny crush + purple flowers popping up in my yard +
