I need an intervention or a housekeeper STAT! This Netflix thing is taking over my life. I’m totally entertained by starring and adding movies to my queue, not to mention actually watching them.
I downloaded Rachel Getting Married last night. I hated it and wanted to turn it off in the middle, but made it to the end only hating it slightly less. I just found the first three seasons of Dexter (yes, I know, I’m the only person who hasn’t watched it), which I will begin watching today. Though I should be cleaning my house because there is stuff EVERYWHERE. My room is cluttered with cups, tissues, empty medicine and vitamin bottles, clothing, boots, and bags of gifts. My dining room table has three, THREE, Frye boot boxes, two of which need to be taken to UPS, along with piles of mail and bills that need to be filed. My bathroom hasn’t been cleaned in weeks. But I will ignore all of this and stay in bed to snuggle my cute puppy and watch TV and movies on my computer.
B and I went to see Sherlock Holmes yesterday. It wasn’t my first choice, but it was pretty good. I really like Ritchie’s style of slowing down action scenes so you can tell what’s going on. We also plan on seeing Avatar in 3D and Up In The Air before my vacay is over.
Yay for not being productive!

Suz – I’ll definitely write about it. I’ve heard nothing but great reviews so I have high expectations! And thank you for the link!!
Jamie – For serious…it’s so good!
I really need to watch Dexter. I keep hearing how great it is!
I thought I would have liked Rachel Getting Married also, I actually went out and bought it a while ago but it just was not good
I haven’t watched Dexter either! It’s in our Netflix queue! I promise the obsession does get better and it is SO nice to have all those movies right at your fingertips!
Netflix is kind of addictive, in a good way. I’m catching up on some French New Wave films.
I thought I would like Rachel Getting Married. The premise seemed interesting but it was terrible.
I thought Sherlock Holmes was just okay. Dexter is beyond amazing.
Rachel Getting Married…Hated that movie! I tried…really did…
So Sherlock Holmes was only just okay? Darn it! I’ve heard mixed reviews so far and I had really been looking forward to seeing it. I saw Avatar in 3D yesterday and it was okay. It was longer than it needed to be and although the movie itself was just okay, the view was beautiful, especially in 3D. If for nothing more than to see how pretty the movie is, I’d recommend it.
And I still have not seen ONE Dexter episode but everyone has been talking about it lately so I really need to get on the boat. I saw that at Target that had season one on sale for $17 so I think I’m going to just go get it.
Once you start, you can’t stop when it comes to Netflix.
And I haven’t seen Dexter either, I need to add it to my queue.
