Best of 2009 Blog Challenge: Trip
December 1 Trip. What was your best trip in 2009?
I haven’t traveled this year at all. I didn’t even make it to Cedar Point! In a couple weeks I’m going to Ohio for Christmas with Aaron’s family. I’ll get to see his mom, dad and brother again and I think I’ll get to meet one of his sisters. I’m guessing it’s going to be pretty fun, so I’m voting it Best Trip of 2009 in advance!
EDIT: How much does Gwen Bell rock for commenting and making me think a little more?
In response to her comment:
I didn’t intentionally not travel, I actually could really use a vacation right about now. But there was that little house I bought in January, which has been sucking up all my money and leaving nothing in my travel fund…if I had a travel fund.
We skipped the big family vacation (15 or so of my aunts, uncles, cousins, family friends) for the past two years, so I think everyone is set on heading back to South Carolina next summer. We’ve gone to Litchfield almost every year since I was 13. Aaron and I are also thinking about going to New York in the spring and I’m hoping my parents will finally buy a cabin up north so even if I can’t afford a real vacation we can at least take the dogs and go away for a little while.
Thanks Gwen!

I love that it’s your “Best Trip of 2009 in advance” – have a lovely trip to Ohio. Gorgeous state. Did you intentionally not travel? Would you like to travel more in 2010?
