A+ for the new flat iron
You know it’s time to replace your flat iron when it starts smoking every time you plug it in and you have to bang it on the counter to make it heat up. Yeah…for real. 20 bucks gets you a quality product.
My lovely parents bought me an Ultra CHI 1 inch ceramic flat iron for my birthday and it’s a huge upgrade from what I was using before. And it’s RED! Yes!

I wasn’t sure how well it would work since my old flat iron was 2.5 inches and had a heat dial – the CHI is all tiny and just has an on/off switch – but I’m so happy with how my hair turned out. My split ends are smoothed out and under control, so I can probably put off a hair cut for another month.
It’s a little pricey, but I totally recommend it! (Neither Ulta nor CHI gave me any compensation to say that) Plus they come in a bunch of pretty colors and designs.

I was having an ‘I’ve got nothing to wear’ morning as I dug through my packed closet, but found this F21 dress I had never worn. I thought it was going to be too dressy, but the pleated skirt made it perfect for work.
I took advantage of the clear skies and sun to get a few pictures outside. It looks nice and warm, but it’s 50 degrees. You can bet I’ll still be outside in a dress snapping pictures when everything is covered in snow.

Those are some killer boots, my dear. I have a “Hai Stik” flat iron straightener. I’ve had it for yeaaars and it has yet to fail me. Sometimes you gotta shell out for a quality product.

What a cute outfit!
I got a chi a couple years ago and it’s been very loyal.
I’m absolutely hopeless though.
90% of the time, I have my hair in a ponytail.
Hurray for the new straightening iron! Yeah, mine is some piece of crap from Target. Maybe one day I’ll upgrade … and then actually get up in the morning to do my hair!
Love the outfit! That dress is really fun! Love the pleated skirt.
liv – thanks! i always think a pony tail will look cute and then i’m over it in 5 mins. so my flat iron will get lots of use!
