Gravy and I went to see Gloria Steinem speak last night. On the way there we had an epic and much-needed singalong  – Rancid, Blink 183, Dropkick Murphys, and Alkaline Trio. I forgot how much if a stress reliever it is to belt out song after song with her. I didn’t realize the tickets I bought were in the FRONT ROW and we got a little teary-eyed when she walked out on stage – looking incredibly good for 75. She talked about being an activist in the ’60s and challenged us to do an outrageous act in the next 24 hours. Really inspiring, makes me wonder if I’m ready to walk away from TG.

Ate lunch outside today. The land the station is on used to be a farm, so there are lots of big trees (one even had leaves!) and an old farm house. After cooking in the sun for a while we came inside for a dog drawing contest (I won!) and pie. Then I got a ton of work done!
