Happy Friday
B is home from Japan, the living room is painted, a couch has been ordered and I’m a happy lady.
B came home yesterday with lots of prezzies for me. He said he bought every Nightmare Before Christmas toy he could find and then remembered I like other stuff, so I got lots of Hello Kitty, Edward Scissorhands, and FDLS stuff too!
Picked up a table and chairs I found on Craigslist and finished painting the living room this past weekend. I’m so in love with the color and can’t wait to put pictures up on the walls. Next in line for paint is the dining room, which I’ll start working on this weekend while B is recording.
I finally ordered this couch from Macys, but in a woven gray fabric. It won’t be here for 8 weeks, so my parents are going to bring over a very old, very unattractive love seat that has been in their basement for 10 years.

I am considering that same couch from Macy’s – but a little hesitant about the velvet fabric. How do you like the couch? Would you do it again?

I chose a different fabric – it’s a woven gray material. I love the couch, it looks great and is super comfy. I get lots of compliments on it.
I agree with everyone- your place is cool looking, like out of a movie. In a weird way, I almost expected it to be trendy because of your blog design. And I was right.

Those Edward Scissorhands dolls are pretty much exactly what I look like after a night of drinking – except in stead of scissors on my hands I have Taco Bell.
