Little Lady, Big Cart

I finally went for the big “buy everything I use every day but don’t have because I moved out of my parents house” shopping trip and holy hell does my credit card hurt. I must have looked ridiculous attempting to push my over-flowing card through Meijer. They had a sale on Wilton baking dishes and I couldn’t resist – I bought two cupcake pans w/lids, a cookie sheet, a sheet-cake pan w/lid and a set of round cake pans. I think I’m going to test out the oven this weekend with a lemon cake.

It took me at least 8 trips to the car to unload everything. But I got it all put away and even had time to unload a few boxes before Liz showed up to go to the bar. My kitchen is so cute now and looks like I actually live there.

My bedroom rug showed up and I love it. I ordered both it and the bathroom rug from CB2. The only issue is, I’m sleeping in the guestroom until the walls are patched in my room, so the rug does not fit at all. The corner is folded over so I can open the door and it’s rolled against the bed and my dresser.

I’m determined to unpack the rest of my boxes this weekend and find the damn camera.
