2009 – Bring It On!
2008 has been a rough year and I won’t be sad to see it go. The first half of the year was going so well and then by July it was all crash and burn. December has been especially trying, so I thought I’d make a list of all the great things that happened this year so I can move forward with a light heart. (the beginning of the year is a bit fuzzy since I didn’t start blogging until May)
1. I was named as one of Crain’s Detroit’s 20 in their 20′s
2. Flew for the first time to meet up with B on tour
3. Got an enormous raise
6. Lots of nights out with my besties
7. Lots of surprises and nights in w/ B
8. Warped Tour with the TGs
9. Camping at Mackinac with the fam
10. Jimmy Eat World, NIN, Weezer!
12. Cedar Point
13. New tattoo
15. Barack Obama
17. Last FDLS and Nipon shows
18. Got the final approval on my house – perfect way to end the year
I’m glad I made this list. 2008 doesn’t look that bad now as long as I focus on this and forget all the lame crap that happened.
