Happy Feet
At 8pm we met at Big Top Tattoo, a shop covered in framed drawings of every person and animal with a prominent penis or vagina. (I bet I’m gonna get some great traffic from those words) Betsy was up first, since she was the most likely to bail. We all got the record player from Bikini Kill’s The Singles album done by Dan Rick. I held her hand, which she squeezed like she was pushing out a watermelon. She moaned and cried the whole time as Dan repeatedly told her to “hold still.” I faired a bit better, only uttering expletives and making “holy shit this fucking hurts!” faces every few minutes. Jenn was a champ, of course, because she’s a pro at this by now.
Here’s a picture of Betsy writhing in pain, Jenn saying, “breathe in…breathe out…breathe in…breathe out,” Dan saying, “Betsy. You have to stop moving,” and Betsy saying, “I’m trrrryyyyiiinnggg!”
Betsy has photos of me getting tattooed, I’ll post those when I get my hands on them. Another thing checked off my 101 list!

I got a tattoo on my foot as well. The spot right on my foot where my first toe knuckle is definitely hurt the worst. The rest was just fine. But that knuckle? OUCHHHH
I have nothing else to compare it to as it is my only one, but foot tattoos HURT like a BITCH, eh?
