I got a letter in the mail yesterday from Detroit NOW saying I’ve been chosen to receive ‘special recognition’ for my work on TG at a dinner in August. My mom freaked out and replaced my sister’s Dean’s List letter on the kitchen door with mine. So now my family has been teasing me that I’m winning awards for everything – fastest pancake eater, best backseat driver. Every time my brother mentions doing anything I tell him I’m going to win the award for it.
